Working Principle

This negative pressure fire pump has excellent suction capacity and can maintain stable water pressure output under various working conditions. The pump body is made of high-strength cast iron material and equipped with a large flow impeller design to ensure reliable fire water supply in emergency situations. The product achieves efficient and energy-saving operation by optimizing the hydraulic model, fully meeting the strict requirements of the fire protection system.

The core components of this horizontal centrifugal pump include precision cast bronze impellers, high-strength alloy steel shafts, heavy-duty mechanical seals, and long-lasting lubrication bearing systems. As a professional end suction fire pump, its unique inlet design ensures excellent negative pressure suction performance. All components have undergone strict material testing and dynamic balance testing to ensure reliable operation in case of fire emergencies. Pump main structure includes pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, sealing ring, shaft sleeve and suspension bearing components. Its core feature is the back-opening structure (the pump body and pump cover are separated from the back of the impeller), which significantly simplifies the maintenance process, without disassembling the pipeline or motor, and only need to disconnect the coupling to remove the rotor parts for maintenance.
The pump casing constitutes the working chamber and the rotor consists of the impeller, shaft and rolling bearings, with the suspension bearings carrying the radial and axial loads. The axial force balance is realized by the sealing rings before and after the impeller and the balance hole in the rear cover plate, and the rear sealing ring is omitted in some low axial force models. 1. Installation and calibration steps
a. Clean the base from oil and place it on the foundation.
b.Use level meter to calibrate the level of the base, and allow to level it with pad iron.
c. Pour cement to fix the base and ground bolt holes, and check the tightness after the cement dries and solidifies.
d. Clean the base, pump foot and motor foot contact surface, install the pump and motor on the base.
e. Ensure that the coupling gap is uniform, the pump shaft and the motor shaft centerline (available thin shims to adjust the concentricity).
f. Measurement standards: coupling outer circle up and down / left and right deviation ≤ 0.1mm, end face gap circumferential maximum difference ≤ 0.3mm.

2.Installation instructions
a. The installation height of the pump and the length/diameter of the pipeline should be determined by hydraulic calculation, so as to reduce the local resistance loss such as elbow.
b. Priority should be given to the use of large pipe diameters, and the pipeline should be load-bearing with independent bracket, and external force is strictly prohibited to be applied to the pump body.
c. If a check valve is to be installed in the discharge line, it should be placed outside the gate valve to avoid water hammer damage to the pump body.
d. Before operation, make sure all bolts are tight, coupling alignment is qualified, and no pipeline stress is transferred to the pump body.
